Same-Sex Couples Sue for Marriage Rights in New Jersey (2004)

A year after the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court called for the legalization of same-sex marriage, LGBTQ+ couples and organizations continued to fight for marriage rights in the courts of New Jersey. Some of these couples were profiled on this 2004 episode of Due Process, a legal issues show sponsored by the New Jersey Bar Association that aired on the New Jersey Network.
